Company of Heroes Developer Sacrifices Himself for Wife and Child

This is a really inspiring, sad story, and unfortunately one that will likely be passed over by most media outlets.  Brian Wood, a Lead Designer at Relic games was killed in a car accident, but in the process, saved his wife and unborn child by throwing the driver’s side of the car into the path of a speeding SUV.

The driver is suspected of drug use, and the police were familiar with some of the people in the speeding SUV.  The crash unfortunately killed 2 of the other people in the SUV.  The worst part – the crash happened because the driver was speeding, and decided to take off his sweater while driving.
